PRODUCTION PROCESS

Erreci Stampi’s production process is based on a combination of skilled labour and advanced technology, ensuring the creation of high quality moulds, with dimensions up to 2000×1500 mm and a maximum weight of 20 tonnes. After manufacture, each mould undergoes rigorous testing, including a moulding test with reliable partners. In addition to moulds, we offer precision machining for third parties, such as high-speed milling, large EDM and wire cutting up to 600 mm in height, extending our reach into the manufacturing sector.

DESIGN PHASE

The design phase starts with a careful analysis of the article to be produced, assessing the need for prototyping to refine the design. Using state-of-the-art CAD/CAM software, we transform ideas into precise 3D designs, both for in-house production and for external customers. This phase makes use of CAD (Computer Aided Design) to convert drawings supplied by the customer, or developed in-house, into detailed mould models. Our technology is compatible with popular file formats such as IGES, VDA-FS, PARASOLID, DXF, STL, CATIA and SAT, ensuring a smooth transition from concept to finished design. Every aspect is carefully examined, from tolerance analysis to the cooling circuit, ensuring maximum attention to detail to optimise the functionality and quality of the mould.

REALISATION PHASE

Next, the realisation phase takes the mould design from theory to practice. Using CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing), we generate the toolpaths required to produce the mould, transferring the machining data directly to our CNC machines via the Intranet. This manufacturing process is highly automated, minimising manual operations and improving efficiency. During manufacture, we pay the utmost attention to mechanical precision, ensuring that each mould is made according to design specifications. Once completed, the mould undergoes rigorous testing to verify its functionality and the quality of the moulded parts, ensuring that it meets the customer’s expectations.
